Budapest - Reuters. Hungary and Slovakia have turned to Croatia for Russian oil after flows through Ukraine were disrupted, leading to disagreements between Kyiv and the two countries.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said in a post on X that Hungary and Slovakia had asked Croatia to allow oil to flow through its territory. Meanwhile, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha posted on X what he said were images of civil defense personnel next to burning infrastructure of the Druzhba pipeline, accusing Hungary of failing to comment on the incident for two weeks because its ally Russia was responsible.
Hungary swiftly responded, in turn accusing the Ukrainians of cutting off the electricity to that section of the pipeline.
